Alvarez Music Profile

Alvarez Music (AM) is a Hamburg-based music production company founded in 1998. It is led by Cuban producer/composer Ricardo Alvarez, who works actively in the music scene of Germany and Central Europe since 1994. The company has a recording studio, a concert agency and a record label. It especializes mainly in Cuban music, but also in Latin music. Experience and good high standard in that field is the main advantage of AM products and services.

Alvarez had worked with clients like Polygram and BMG/Ariola, together with superstars such as Nena, Lou Bega and Scatman John. And also worked with Cuban artists like Compay Segundo, Caridad Hierrezuelo, Vieja Trova Santiaguera and Edesio Alejandro. He is musical director of the band Cubanísimo, one of the few Europe-based Cuban ensembles with wide success also into the Island. The AM studio also has several credits as a recording place for Latin artists and composers in the Germany-area, among other music directions like hip-hop and pop.

AM is intended to be a professional choice for Cuban/Latin musical productions with an European base. It is at the moment, the only one music production company run by a Cuban producer all over Europe.
